| Cancellation Policy
- If, due to unforeseen circumstances, we (the Owners') have to cancel the hire, we will give as much notice as we reasonably can, and refund all monies paid.
- If the Hirer fails to pay the balance of charges on, or before, the due date, we reserve the right to cancel the booking. We will not refund any deposit paid if we cancel the booking in these circumstances.
- If the Hirer cancels the hire before the balance of hire charges has been paid, we will not refund any deposit paid under any circumstance.
- If the Hirer cancels the hire up to 14 days before start of hire, after the full amount of the hire charge has been paid, we will refund all monies paid less 5% cancellation charge, and the deposit paid.
- If the Hirer cancels the hire from 13 days or less before start of hire, after the full amount of the hire charge has been paid, we will not refund any of the monies paid, unless we receive any monies by means of subsequent re-let of the accommodation, in which case we will refund all monies paid less 5% cancellation charge and the deposit paid.
- If the Hirer cancels the hire for a Short Break or Special Offer before start of hire, after the full amount of the hire charge has been paid, we will not refund any of the monies paid, unless we receive any monies by means of subsequent re-let of the accommodation, in which case we will refund all monies paid less £20 cancellation charge.
- If the Hirer cancels the hire we will not refund any premium paid by the Hirer in respect of Cancellation Insurance.
- The Hirer shall notify the Owners within 72 hours of the occurence of an event, which may give rise to cancellation of the hire, or which may give rise to a claim under any Cancellation Insurance Policy.
- Sections 2, 3, 4, and 5 above DO NOT APPLY to Short Breaks or Special Offers.
